Billy Corgan is taking a break from recording two new Smashing Pumpkins albums, due in 2015, to perform for the first time at Ravinia Festival on Aug. 30 in his hometown of Highland Park. People who support his pet project, PAWS Chicago, by agreeing to foster a homeless pet, can win free pavilion tickets to Corgan’s acoustic performance.
