Police blotter: Man caught masturbating naked at Willow Park

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of Glenview Police Department. Readers are reminded an arrest is not a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

ALCOHOL

Caroline Price, 19, of 1224 Williamsburg Drive, Northbrook, was charged at 5:29 a.m. July 5 with driving under the influence of alcohol and disobeying a red light at Willow and Landwehr roads. Her court date is July 25.

Jae Sung Rhee, 72, of 1906 Cholo Lane, Mount Prospect was charged at 10:50 p.m. July 5 with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident on the 1900 block of Pfingsten Road. Her court date is Aug. 18.

Daniel Levin, 18, of 1433 Voltz Road, Northbrook, was cited at 1:53 a.m. July 5 for minor in possession of alcohol at East Lake Avenue and Shermer Road.

The following 18-year-old people were cited on July 7 for minors in possession of alcohol on the 900 block of Arbor Lane following a noise complaint. They were Mark Lato, of 904 Arbor Lane, Glenview, also cited for hosting an underage party; Daniel Hines, of 624 Pine Lane, Winnetka; Jacklyn Munck, of 803 Greenleaf Ave. Glencoe; Alexandra Raith, of 577 Cherry St., Winnetka; Jack Collins, 1694 Colonial Lane, Northfield; and Nicolo Capitanini, of 901 Ashland Ave., Wilmette.

Michael Bencik, 53, of 143 Washington St., Glenview, was charged at 11:03 p.m. July 10 with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane us on the 900 block of Harlem Avenue. His court date is Aug. 18.

BURGLARY

A resident saw two males exiting a bedroom at 3:56 p.m. July 1 and then fled in a vehicle parked on the 1800 block of Longvalley Road. Loss was $2,000.

DRUGS

Nancy Hess, 43, of 9209 Nagle Ave., Morton Grove, was cited at 11:27 p.m. July 3 for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on the 200 block of Harlem Avenue.

Joseph Park, 33, 339 Cherry Lane, Glenview, was cited at 1:39 a.m. July 7 for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on the 2500 block of Patriot Boulevard.

DECEPTIVE PRACTICE

On July 7 a resident on the 1200 block of Maple Lane paid $10,000 to a man for repairing and painting an antique vehicle that started July 2013. In May the resident received a letter saying the vehicle had been towed on Feb. 2 by the man contracted for the work to a facility and storage charges were $7,000. The resident paid the charge and got back the vehicle, but no work was done and carburetor parts were missing.

PUBLIC INDECENCY

Housen Yeh, 20, of 2440 Cobblewood Drive, Northbrook, was charged at 5:54 p.m. July 7 with public indecency after a juvenile saw him masturbating naked at Willow Park on the 2600 block of Greenwood Road. His court date is Aug. 18.
