There’s a very good reason why Morris Taylor likes to have kids help him during his performances. Better known by families as Morris the Magic Man, he believes that it makes even the children who are not called upon feel part of the act.

“When you bring one of the kids onstage to put their hand in a bag or to choose a prop or to interact with a puppet, they all do it through that child’s eyes,” Taylor said.

Taylor will be entertaining children ages 7 and younger, as well as their parents, during a Kids Club Special Event, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Glen Town Center, 2651 Navy Blvd., Glenview.

“There’ll be lots of magic,” Taylor reported. There will also be puppets to please the preschoolers. “It’s more entertainment than magic,” Taylor said. “But it’s a lot of fun for everybody.”
