HALLOWEEN

Pumpkin Patch

Children can choose and decorate pumpkins from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 13 in the fountain area at The Village Green of Lincolnshire, 100 Village Green. Free.

Chicago Botanic Garden

“Bewitched: More Music for the Dead of Night”

Canzonetta Youth Orchestra

Seeking musicians to audition for the 2012-13 music season. Directed by Hilel Kagan, Canzonetta is a chamber orchestra that offers specialized instruction for children interested in developing their orchestral skills.
