A one-time special screening of “Crescendo,” a short film from the producers of “Bella” — Eduardo Verastegui, Jason Jones and Leo Severino — and executive producer Pattie Mallette, mother of Justin Bieber, takes place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 at Regal Gardens Theater 7-13, 4999 Old Orchard Center, Skokie.
Dan Proft, host of the WLS-AM 890 Morning Drive Talk Show, will emcee the event.
Based on a true story, “Crescendo” takes place in the 18th-century Europe where extraordinary events turns a woman’s ordinary day into a life-changing experience.

Event sponsorships available; individual reservations are $15 for adults, $10 for ages 18 years and younger. Reservations are required; tickets will not be available for purchase at the door.
