More than two hundred persons attended a unique Medical Symposium, “Medical Miracles” on Nov. 10, at Beth Hillel Congregation B’nai Emunah, 3220 Big Tree Lane, Wilmette.

Although an informational event sponsored by Hadassah Chicago Chapter and Hadassah North Shore Chapter, $2000 in donations for Hadassah’s work in Israel was raised.

The symposium and dessert reception featured two doctors/professors from Hadassah Hospitals, Israel, Dr. Isaiah Wexler, pediatric endocrinologist and Professor Raphael Gorodetsky, Director of Radiology and Biotechnology, Sharett Institute of Oncology, Hadassah Medical Organization, who discussed the newest and most cutting-edge medical technologies available today including breakthrough technologies in stem cell research.

The program was geared to informing and educating the Hadassah members and their guests as to the newest and most exciting medical miracles at Hadassah Hospital.
