Local author speaks at JUF benefit evening

Deerfield author Lisa Barr speaks on “GIRLilla Warfare: A Mom’s Guide to Surviving the Suburban Jungle,” at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at Evolution Wine and Spirits, 2766 Dundee Road, Northbrook. Registration begins at 7 p.m. for this Fall 2012 Perspectives program of the Young Women’s Board of the Jewish United Fund. The evening includes light refreshments and kosher wine tasting; dietary laws observed. Estimated value of the program is $25, which is not tax deductible.
