Park District hires new risk manager

The Glenview Park District recently hired Henry Urbina as the district’s risk manager. Urbina will be responsible for coordinating, instituting and supervising the district’s safety and risk management program following the guidelines established by the Park District Risk Management Association.

Urbina has 10 years of experience in training and risk management and is fluent in Spanish. Prior to joining the Glenview Park District, he spent six years as a training and safety coordinator at Winston Marketing Brands in Melrose Park, Il. Prior to Winston, he held the position of TMS Midwest Bilingual Liaison for Whole Foods in Chicago.

Urbina is currently attending DePaul University where he is working toward a bachelors degree in adult training and management.
