Glenview United showcases candidates Saturday

GLENVIEW — The new political party, United Glenview, will introduce the four candidates running for open seats on the Glenview Village Board at 10 a.m. Saturday,in the Police Department Community Room at 2500 East Lake Ave., Glenview.

The public is invited to attend.

The four are running in the April 9, 2013 election.

The open seats are those of Village President Kerry Cummings and trustees Pat Cuisinier, Paul Detlefs and Deborah Karton.

Officers of Unite Glenview are Steve Bucklin, chair; Katie Siegel, secretary and Ronald Greco is treasurer.

The four candidates will provide brief remarks about their approach to village government, in particular the issues facing citizens in Glenview for the next four years.
