Be a cheerleader for a night

Grab some pom-poms and head on over to the Park Center for a Girl’s Night Out you won’t soon forget! Participate in “Cheerobix,” a fun, aerobic, fat-blasting and core workout consisting of simple exotic dance routines, body sculpting, and ab-burning moves! Ages 14 and up. No previous “cheer” experience necessary. When: 7 p.m. Friday. Where: Group Fitness Studio at the Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave. Cost: $10.

Live animal show

Come see real live bats and an array of amazing mammals! Conservationists for the Flying Fox Conservation Fund will be discussing the animals’ behavior, different kinds of bats, how many exist and protection of the mammals. When: 2-3 p.m. Saturday. Solve the crime

Investigate the scene of a crime at The Grove. Something’s missing and it’s your job to collect clues, figure out which animals are under suspicion, and solve the case. Learn about Asian economy

Join Professors Arthur I. Cyr and Mary Margaret Clausen as they discuss the economies of China, Japan and Korea, and our steadily growing trade volume with these Asian countries.
