Kiddie Gras
It’s Mardi Gras at the Park Center! Join in the fun for a family event that includes Mardi Gras games and crafts, inflatables in the gym, an authentic Cajun style dinner, and a balloon drop at the end of the night. Ages 3 to adult. Hook rugs and quilts
What better way to spend a cold, winter day than making hook rugs? Learn how to hand hook a rug and make a quilt using strips of wool fabrics and a crochet style hook. Ages 16 and up. When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 4. Where: The Grove, 1421 Milwaukee Ave. Cost: $35. Register: www.glenviewparks.org.
Bowl during the bowl
How about a couple games of bowling while you watch the Super Bowl? Each lane at Pinstripes has flat screen TV’s, so you can watch the big game while you knock down some pins. A great fundraiser
Come to the Glenview Giving Foundation’s benefit, “Dancing With The Hearts.” Enjoy clips of great movies like “Saturday Night Fever,” “Dirty Dancing,” and “Grease,” in themed theater rooms, with live performances by GBS Orchesis, Driven 2 Dance students, Loyola Academy Company B and more! A fun workout
Participate in “Drums,” a workout that uses drum rhythms to train your whole body!
