The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Glenview Police Department. Readers are reminded an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Tiffany Saarinen, 44, 1314 Sunview Lane, Wilmette, was charged at 8 p.m. Aug. 15 with disorderly conduct for making an obscene phone call on Aug. 12. Her court date is Aug. 30.
ALCOHOL
Jeonghwan Kim, 27, of 545 Parkview Terrace, Buffalo Grove, was charged at 1:20 a.m. Aug. 15 with driving under the influence of alcohol on the 700 block of Milwaukee Avenue. His court date is Sept. 13.
Garret Bernstein, 19, of 1331 Bonnie Glen Lane; Boyan Tantchev, 19, of 315 Spruce St. and Sean McCune, 18, of Camden Drive, all of Glenview, were cited at 1:25 a.m. Aug. 9 for minors in possession of alcohol on the 2800 block of Glenview Road. Bernstein also was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Karon Brashares, 67, of 4300 W. Lake Ave., No. 309C, Glenview, was charged at 10:07 p.m. Aug. 15 with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and failure to signal on the 3600 block of East Lake Avenue. Her court date is Oct. 5.
Ernest Puig, 54, of 2250 W. Taylor St., Chicago, was charged at 7:50 p.m. Aug. 19 with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked license, speeding and illegal transportation of alcohol on the 1400 block of Glenview Road. He was transported Aug. 20 to bond hearing court.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A parked vehicle was damaged Aug. 6 or 7 when paint balls were shot at its sheet metal on the 2600 block of Independence Avenue. Loss was $1,000.
A chain link fence for a business was cut Aug. 10 or Aug. 11 on the 1300 block of Glenview Road. Loss was $200.
A vehicle’s tire was slashed Aug. 11 on the 1500 block of Forest Drive. Loss was $200.
BURGLARY
An unlocked vehicle was entered Aug. 7 or 8 when various items were stolen on the 900 block of East Glenwood Road. Loss was $61.
When confronted by a resident, a male ran from the home at 4 p.m. Aug. 10 after ringing the doorbell several times and attempting to open a rear door.
Appliances and electronics were stolen Aug. 10 or Aug. 11 from an unlocked home door on the 1100 block of Golfview Lane. Loss was $5,900.
THEFT
Three male customers fled a restaurant Aug. 10 without paying the bill on the 1300 block of Waukegan Road. Loss was $90.
An Apple iTouch was stolen Aug. 11 from a garage sale table on the 400 block of Washington Street. Loss was $100.
Julie Glassman, 35, of 851 N. Winchester Ave., No. 2F, Chicago, was charged at 5 p.m. Aug. 16 with retail theft on the 1800 block of Tower Drive. Her court date is Sept. 20.
DRUGS
Ryan Anastasia, 18, of 611 Glendale Road, Glenview, was cited at 7:47 p.m. Aug. 8 for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on the 1000 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
James Bamaung, of 3603 Linneman St., and Michael Mrugala, of 3409 Meadow Lane, both 18 and Glenview residents, were cited at 11:39 p.m. Aug. 10 for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on the 3200 block of Westview Drive. Jacob Barak, 20, of 825 Edgewood Lane, Glenview, also was cited for possession of marijuana.
Gissella Madrid, 20, of 8660 Gregory Lane, No. A, Des Plaines, was cited at 11:34 p.m. Aug. 12 for possession of marijuana at Gallery Park, 2699 W. Lake Ave. ~.
BATTERY
Magdelene Wright, 37,of 2006 Henley St., Glenview, was charged at 2:45 p.m. Aug. 16 with domestic battery on the 2000 block of Henley Street. She was transported Aug. 17 to bond hearing court.
Cameron Socha, 22, of 2232 Pinehurst Drive, Glenview, was charged at 6:18 p.m. with battery on the 1800 block of Rogers Avenue. He was transported Aug. 18 to bond hearing court.
