Glenview police reports

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Glenview Police Department. Readers are reminded an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
THEFT
Linda Liss, 50, 1427 Coral Parkway, Northbrook, was charged at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 28 with retail theft on the 1900 block of Tower Drive. Her court date is Nov. 8.
Samuel J. Bova, 26, of 4546 Lilac Ave., Glenview, was charged at 6:25 a.m. Sept. 29 with theft of services and resisting arrest after a taxi cab driver complained of an unpaid fare. His court date is Oct. 25.
Two 75-gallon scrap water heaters were stolen between Sept. 20 and Sept. 25 from a locked shed on the 3300 block of West Lake Avenue. Loss was $45.
An engine was stolen from Community Park West, 1001 Zenith Drive. Loss was $3,000.
A watch was stolen at 2:47 p.m. Sept. 30 from a rented room on the 2600 block of LeHigh Avenue. Loss was $500.
A laptop was stolen at noon Oct. 1 from a business on the 800 block of Waukegan Road. Loss was $1,000.
DRUGS
Dean Adams, 21, of 221 Harlem Ave., Glenview, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and following too closely at 2:33 a.m. Sept. 29 on the 3300 block of Winchester Lane. His court date is Oct. 25.
Tobias Nikolic, 18, of 8439 Greenwood Ave., Niles, was cited at 10:39 p.m. Sept. 27 for possession of marijuana on the 3600 block of Glenview Road.
Beau Chapman, 21, of 1934 Palmgren Drive, was cited at 7:22 p.m. Sept. 29 for possession of marijuana on the 200 block of Shermer Road.
ALCOHOL
Gerlinde Kornmesser, 49, of 1705 Glenview Road, Glenview, was charged at 2:46 a.m. Sept. 30 with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use, failure to signal and not carrying a driver’s license on the 1500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Her court date is Oct. 25.
Phillip Ross, 18, of 560 Greenbay Road, Glencoe, was cited at 11:49 p.m. Sept. 27 for minor in possession of alcohol and resisting or interfering with a peace officer on the 1800 block of Rogers Avenue.
Chandler E. Farrell, of 1814 Silverwillow Road, and Joshua Arenson, of 1036 Queens Lane, both 18 and Glenview residents, were cited at 9:48 p.m. Sept. 29 for minors in possession of alcohol at a party on the 1300 block of Prairie Lawn.
BURGLARY
In a burglary, two men were seen at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24 carrying a television to a U-Haul truck on the 4700 block of Locust Avenue. Loss was $1,010.
Electronic equipment was stolen from a home between June 10 and Sept. 22 on the 1300 block of Hawthorne Lane. Loss was $1,200.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
The front passenger window of a vehicle was broken between 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sept. 26 on the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Loss was $250.
BB pellets damaged a resident’s bedroom window at 2:13 p.m. Sept. 28 on the 1100 block of Golfview Road. Loss was $300.
Business windows were found broken at 12:20 a.m. Sept. 27 on the 4500 block of East Lake Street. Loss was $300.
A vehicle was scratched between 5:30 p.m. Sept. 27 and 7:20 a.m. Sept. 28 on the 3200 block of West Lake Avenue. Loss was $500.
UNLAWFUL USE OF A CREDIT CARD
An employee used a company credit card without authorization to buy gasoline. The business was on the 4100 block of Cove Lane and loss was $6,091.27.
IDENTITY THEFT
A cable television account was opened in a resident’s name at an address on Chicago’s South Side. Loss was $1,165.13.
