Henking receives award

Henking School was recently given the Books for School award from Target, which provides the school with $500 in books for their Learning Center. Target Team Members also will come to Henking and be guest readers for the students.

D34 Community Flyers page

Parents or community members Interested in events taking place in and around Glenview can visit the Glenview School District 34 Community Flyers page. Visit www.glenview34.org, then select the “Parents” tab at the top of the page, then select “Community Flyers.” This page is updated on a regular basis. Organizations interested in providing information for the Community Flyers page can email those requests to Melanie Walstrom at mwalstrom@glenview34.org.

Attea PTA meeting scheduled

Attea will be hosting the Attea/Springman PTA Meeting from 9:15-11:15 a.m. on Oct. 2 at Attea, 2500 Chestnut Ave.

Board of Education meeting scheduled

There will be a Board of Education meeting at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8 at the District Administration Building, 1401 Greenwood Road.

Lyon/Pleasant Ridge PTA meeting scheduled

Pleasant Ridge will be hosting the Lyon/Pleasant Ridge PTA meeting from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 9 at Pleasant Ridge, 1730 Sunset Ridge Road.

Henking/Hoffman Carnival

Hoffman will be hosting the Henking/Hoffman Carnival from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 12 at Hoffman, 2000 Harrison St. ~.
