PTC Meeting
The District 31 Parent Teacher Club will meet from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at Field School. All parents are invited to attend.
PTC Plans Family Movie Night
District 31 families are invited to a fun night at the movies at Field Middle School from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 19. The featured attraction is “E.T. The Extra Terrestrial.” Advanced ticket pricing is $5 per person by Oct. 12. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for $7 per person. Refreshments will be sold. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
PTC plans November Hoops event
A fast-paced, fun-filled one-day November Hoops basketball clinic is being sponsored by the District 31 Parent Teacher Club on Nov. 3, at Winkelman School for students in kindergarten to fifth grades. The registration deadline is Oct. 18. Registration forms are available on the District 31 website at www.district31.net. The cost is $20 per student with additional siblings $10 each. Each participant will receive a tee-shirt.
Three grade-level sessions are planned including: fourth-fifth grades from 8:30 to 10 a.m., second-third grades from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and kindergarten-first grade — 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Each session will include drills, instruction, games, skill contests and prizes.
All proceeds from this event benefit programs, technology and activities for District 31 schools.
