The 9th annual Girlfriend’s Breakfast & Boutique for Youth Services took place in a new location — the Hilton Chicago Northbrook — on Nov. 15, and drew a record, capacity crowd of 350.

The shopping benefit included complimentary coffee and pastries, a $5 mimosa bar, and a sit-down breakfast. Guests then got to shop the offerings of 11 vendors. Wares included jewelry, clothing and gift items. Youth Services of Glenview and Northbrook received 20 percent of sales for the day. The event raised approximately $43,000.

The annual event is hosted by Friends of Youth Services, a volunteer women’s auxiliary group that assists Youth Services through financial support.

Founded in 1972, Youth Services is a social service agency devoted to the mental health, character development and physical well-being of families and children in the community. www.youthservices-gn.org.
