Man charged for child sexual assault in Glenview

GLENVIEW — A Chicago man was charged Feb. 15 with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child in Glenview. At 8:13 p.m. Glenview police arrested Ryan Ruiz, 31, of 2917 W. Diversey Ave., on the 3700 block of W. Leland Avenue, Chicago. He also was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. All charges relate to the sexual assault on May 16, 2012, at John’s Park, 2101 Central Road, Glenview. “Ruiz met a juvenile on-line and convinced that person to meet him at the park where the incident took place,” police stated in a release.
