Girls Gymnastics: Glenbrook South’s Landri wins title in league meet

In her fourth and final try, Glenbrook South senior gymnast Nora Landri earned her first CSL South championship by scoring 9.125 on the uneven parallel bars during the conference meet at Evanston on Friday.
Besides winning on bars, Landri also placed third in all-around at 36.05. She finished third on floor exercise (8.85), fourth on vault (9.35) and sixth on balance beam (8.725).
Pauline Zielinski, Glenbrook South’s other senior, was 10th on vault (8.75). She tied for 11th on beam at 8.35.
Glenbrook South finished fourth in the five-team meet with a composite of 128.525. New Trier (142.925) earned its second straight conference championship.
The Titans were scheduled to compete at the Lake Forest Regional on Tuesday. The Niles North Sectional is Feb. 9.
