Boys Swimming: Pollick’s pair of victories lift Titans over Hawks

Thomas Pollick won two events to lead Glenbrook South to a 111-73 win over Maine South in CSL South action last week.
The win improved the Titans to 3-1 in league meets.
Pollick, a senior, finished first in both the 200-yard IM (2:07.06) and the 100 backstroke (55.93). He also swam on a pair of victorious relays, the 200 medley and 400 freestyle.
Jon Salomon, whose brother Andrew swam at Maine South, won the 50 free (21.98). Ethan Spalding, Ryan Hianik and J.J. Connor also won events.
Glenbrook South closes out the regular season against Evanston on Friday. The conference meet will be held at Evanston the following weekend.
