No. 2 singles: Brina Gartlan (HC) def. Jessica Hu, 17-21, 21-14, 21-11
Hinsdale Central coach Katie Maley’s comments via email: “The team played awesome against Naperville North, which is a really strong and talented team, like always. Our #1 and #2 singles players Ailynna Chen and Brina Gartlan had HUGE wins. Kyleen and Jessica beat us last year and I was very impressed with how well my girls played! We split quite a few games and were able to win those splits in the 3rd. #1 Doubles player Amy Wey strained her groin and #2 doubles player Zoe Larson sprained her foot, which will definitely hurt us in future meets.
Hinsdale Central record: 7-0-1.
